I still think it can.

drm_framebuffer_unreference() drops a kref. The framebuffer's kref
release function is set to drm_framebuffer_free(), which calls
drm_mode_object_unregister() (which can sleep), and ->destroy, which
must call drm_framebuffer_cleanup() (which can sleep).
