Please make a register write function that takes the reg value as 16-bit. Like ili9225_write(mipi, u8 reg, u16 val) or something.
I have come to understand that mipi isn't really a good variable name here. mipi can be a lot of things, MIPI DSI for instance uses dsi as a variable name. So we really should use 'dbi' instead of 'mipi'.
