You are not using the latest firmware. Please upgrade to 25.17.12.0. You'll be able to find the firmware here: https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/iwlwifi/linux-firmware.git/plain/iwlwifi-7260-12.ucode
Note that users reported an improvement with -13.ucode, but you'll need 4.1 to use that firmware. The issue you are facing can be caused by a lot of factor and hence it is hard to know if the newer versions will fix your problem, but it is worth trying.
