Looks like the needed stuff is enabled there. Unfortunately I cannot test the full omap1_defconfig because of size limitations.

The support for early fbmem alloc was removed in 2011 (1e434f9318efc3dddc0c0b8d2071712668154c2b, OMAPFB: remove early mem alloc from old omapfb), so I think we can safely delete this code. I can prepare & test a patch for this.
