But you cannot supply a cra_name to crypto-user to get infos of that cipher as it is currently written. You have to use a cra_driver_name.
So, when I use a cra_name with AF_ALG, where would I get the cra_driver_name from to query the details from crypto_user?
Or we have to patch crypto_user to allow the use of cra_name -- which is currently explicitly disabled.
