ok, got it but still no luck:

# gdb vmlinux
GNU gdb (GDB) 7.0.1-debian
Copyright (C) 2009 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
License GPLv3+: GNU GPL version 3 or later <http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html>
This is free software: you are free to change and redistribute it.
There is NO WARRANTY, to the extent permitted by law. Type "show copying"
and "show warranty" for details.
This GDB was configured as "x86_64-linux-gnu".
For bug reporting instructions, please see:
<http://www.gnu.org/software/gdb/bugs/>...
Reading symbols from /root/bug/dddddddd/vmlinux...(no debugging symbols found)...done.
(gdb) disassemble mem_cgroup_handle_oom
No symbol table is loaded. Use the "file" command.

# objdump -d vmlinux | grep mem_cgroup_handle_oom
<no output>

i can recompile the kernel if anything needs to be added into it.
