qemu supports all these features. E.g. to access the host fs use: qemu ... \ -fsdev local,security_model=passthrough,id=fsdev-root,path=/your/root/,readonly \ -device virtio-9p-pci,id=fs-root,fsdev=fsdev-root,mount_tag=rootshare
