That looks correct for Ubuntu:

chris@mythtv:~$ grep CONFIG_DEBUG_MUTEXES /boot/config-2.6.2*
/boot/config-2.6.24-21-generic:# CONFIG_DEBUG_MUTEXES is not set
/boot/config-2.6.27-7-generic:# CONFIG_DEBUG_MUTEXES is not set
/boot/config-2.6.27-9-generic:# CONFIG_DEBUG_MUTEXES is not set
