While reworking the code I saw that your variant is not correct because if pdev has resources with flags != IORESOURCE_MEM the constraint
uiomem == &uioinfo->mem[i]
doesn't hold.
Below is a new version that uses linux/stringify and zeros size for unused mappings (line 102ff).
