I've got more details now, I managed to setup a serial console on another machine and captured the bootup process, along with the various timeouts and such I get on bootup. I couldn't actually get the system to come up enough so I could login, and when I was done rebooting, I had to re-sync my RAID1 array, so I'm a little hesitant to push it. Even with backups.
