Linus didn't invent the UNIX syscall interface either, but I think he deserves a hell of a lot of credit for doing a good job making an implementation of it.
I fail to see how this conversation thread could possibly be considered even remotely productive. Can I kindly ask you to stop attacking RMS and the FSF on LKML?
