You are supposed to either bring the needed "sanitized" kernel headers with your program, or have those provided by the linux-libc-headers (http://ep09.pld-linux.org/~mmazur/linux-libc-headers/) in /usr/include. Adding /usr/src/linux/include to the gcc search path is a bug in userspace programs.
