    This reminds me of a problem I am seeing under recent -bk kernels.

    Mozilla (FC2) will freeze (no screen redraws, etc.). 'ps xf' shows
    mozilla sleeping. If I strace the process, Mozilla will un-freeze and
    continue as expected.
