No idea, as 2.5.69 did not boot, and 2.5.70 had other problems with nic drivers.

I just booted 2.5.70 with patch to Makefiles go get around the crc library issue with 8139too and got it also to ooops with few re-inserts, so this is not a new issue, unless there are several overlapping. At least the oops looks different.
