Meanwhile it has been hinted that ALR 6x6 and this box actually use the same mainboard, co-developed by ALR and Unisys: http://www.newfangled.san-jose.ca.us/ALR Revolution 6x6/alr.html
So it may actually run Linux. The peripherals are supported.
