SubjectRe: 2.4.0-testX triggers segfault in XFree 4.0(.1)
Indeed, I've been experiencing the same behaviour with a LeadTek
GeForce DDR on an Athlon/Asus K7M, with -test5 and -test6 kernels.

2.2.x kernels don't seem to have the issue.
