Are you sniffing directly onto the laptop port ? Could you wire it so you have

laptop---hub---switch---hub--server

The addresses are all consistent with the packet being a byte or two out. That
is really peculiar to say the least and not one I've ever seen before.

I think you need to sniff both sides of the cable and see if the switch
is mangling stuff or which host is
