These debug output adjustments don't really buy a lot. Dragan has a couple of real fixes which are in my working copy of the driver now.

Well, what about some assistance in really fixing the initialization problem? :-) I'm stuck with the experimental proof that the initialization goes south after flow control pause interrupt (which manages to happen with the flow control being explicitly disabled).
