    I think the configuration should still permit it; the probability of
    hitting the locking issue in the ds module is vanishingly small. The
    problem of non-SMP-tested PCMCIA drivers is more serious, but I'd
    really call all the 2.4 PCMCIA code "experimental" at this point.
