With the 2.3.16 tree doing
cp -vrf /usr/bin /mnt & cp -vrf /usr/bin /mnt & cp -vrf /usr/bin /mnt
produces large numbers of file not found errors in response to create. It looks like two people creating a file at once causes a bogus error on one of the openers.
Is /mnt over NFS?
