We fixed some IPX problems with packets getting forwarded too much (on a netbios flood fill ipx packet). There are other reports specifically with the olicom pci card. Why it should be just that I don't know. Ask the Olicom maintainer to investigate and get traces I guess

A tcpdump from another box and from your machine (use tcpdump -n to avoid DNS lookups) during this would be helpful - to start with to see if its some kind of packet storm.
