    Try turning off TCP timestamps:

    echo "0" >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_timestamps

    There are some known bugs in BSDi's TCP timestamp implementation, and
    the consequence of this bug (when hit) is that packets are completely
    dropped and performance suffers.
