You need to visit Sunsolve for that paticular bug I suspect. There is a problem
with Solaris 2.5 (and I believe 2.5.1) where NFS corruption occurs with data
1-3 bytes offset on some I/O patterns generally generated by the gnu linker.

Sunsolve should have the fix on it.
