Uhm ... big deal. Don't all SPARC and UltraSPARC CPU's have serial numbers that can be read? I mean I get this from a sysinfo command on a Solaris box:
... Host ID is 80816e38 Serial Number is 8482360 Manufacturer is Sun (Sun Microsystems) System Model is Ultra 1 Main Memory is 252 MB Virtual Memory is 271 MB ...
