Or you are not keeping /tmp on the same filesystem as root (*good* idea,
especially if you have a NetRape installed on the system and lusers
knowing about said FPOS) and regulary remove all old files from /tmp (also
needed, normally done from crontab via reasonably frequent check for the
amount of space remaining there).
