    Almost everyone is using glibc now. That doesn't mean people don't have old
    boxes with 2.2 kernels or that someone should be going around saying
    "your choice of distribution sucks".

    This case looks like it needs

    #include <sys/socket.h>

    above the un.h. Thats all.
