1) It would have to be an *extremely* compelling binary module if it were to truly *overtake the standard kernel*. Somehow, I dont see this happening.
2) If it were *that* compelling, it would indicate a gaping hole that Linux needed to fill.
3) You can bet the developers would be raising a stink about it all the way :-)
