Is there a plan to put direct maps into autofs? I think "amd" might be able to do what I want, but I've heard of a bunch of improvements going on in autofs...I've been unable to find good documentation on autofs. Is amd gonna go away??? I would appreciate pointers to all things autofs in Linux.
