There is a small package for LaTeX with the necessary font and support files. The archive is named eurosym.tar.gz; maybe it's available from ftp.dante.de or similar sites. All the Euro symbol I'll ever need :-)
(It's just 23kb, so as long as not a million people are asking I can mail it on request.)
