    Thanx for your investigation. It happened for me, too, on Toshiba
    Satellite 4030cdt. I thought it is hardware error and ignored the
    problem. I'm glad to see it is workaroundable.

    Well, we'll want to do autorepeat in software on one sunny day.

    Are you sure that this works properly for arrow keys?
