Doesn't. I've also tried increasing the delay to ridiculously high numbers schedule_timeout (HZ * 5); without any changes. The userspace program, too, still wants the usleep(70001); before working.

I'm out of DMA channels, so I didn't assign a DMA channel to the printer in the first place (using plain EPP).
