It seems to be a full SMP port with disk, networking and consoles.

I expect so, and also to see them put gdb/gcc/binutils/glic patches up.

I've not been sent any 2.3.x code so I guess they will do a 2.4.x port in time
or someone will. It seems a relatively sane architecture.
