You might take a peek at

/var/lib/nfs/xtab
/var/lib/nfs/etab

if they exist and see what they say. They, I believe, are the results
of what the mountd daemon found in your /etc/exports file.

I find it helpful to look there when and I and NFS aren't getting along.
