*nod* me too. modutils-2.1.85-9 which came with RH 5.2, I'll go get modutils-2.1.121 ;). Time to start messing with RPMs again .... No, it's been contribed, good.
BTW strace shows it died just after a series of query_module(2) calls (with a smattering of brk(2)s).
Doh! OK forget it, it works with modutils-2.1.121.
