Yes, besides the force :-) and the apm=smp-power-off boot option I also needed the attached patch and a slight modification in my RedHat5.2 /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt script (adding a -p option to the last command in the script)
It works for me but...YMMV.[unhandled content-type:application/x-gzip] | |
