Josh Cohen and Vinod Valloppillil, in a competitive examination of Linux issued by Microsoft Corporation, wrote that "Linux represents a best-of- ^^^^^^ While Microsoft has admitted the document's authenticity, it's not as if they actually *issued* the document. I'm under the impression that it was actually leaked from inside MS.
However, they did state Linux as competition in a filing with some US financial body (the SEC?). Can this be used? (Sorry, no URL.)
