Hello!
> > > > WW> sb <opts> (sb give a kernel oops and inxmod segfaults) > Ok, I locked my machine up by accident and I have the oops now: I found the case of oops, it is because of (probably) typo in sb_audio.c (misplaced parenthesis). And when this problem was resolved, another one popped up. In sb_common, on module unload. The cause was wrong assignment.
There is patch at the end of this message, that fixes above problems.
BTW, I found that I can emulate existence of any hardware, with its driver, just disable all autoprobing/writing ;). For now I have es1370 emulated ;)
