Me too. Some months ago, there was a lot of talk about problems with Tyan Tomcat motherboards. Have these been resolved? Will a Tyan Tomcat-4 work well with Linux? Or more generally, is there a list of SMP motherboards known to work?
On a somewhat related question, can you install Linux (particularly RedHat 5.0) on a machine without a video card (using the serial console)? Any tricks besides passing in the serial= option when booting?
