Looks like some sort of hard disk corruption. I note that it is also displaying an error for /dev/hda2:
Mar 24 15:45:25 sangam kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Mar 24 15:45:25 sangam kernel: 03:02: rw=0, want=1094721025, limit=102816
Either go into single-user mode or reboot your system into a shell (`init=/bin/sh' option at the boot prompt), and run `e2fsck -f' on all of your drives.

03:03 is /dev/hda3:
cerise:~$ ls -l /dev/hda3 brw-r----- 1 root disk 3, 3 Apr 28 1995 /dev/hda3
