I know that the maximum number of mounts allowed is determined by NR_SUPER in the kernel's fs.h file. What determines the maximum number of open files? NR_OPEN?
I am getting the following error and would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to increase the allowable number of open files.
Mar 13 05:02:45 mach nfsd[159]: non-standard errno: 24 (Too many open files)
(I also have NR_SUPER upped to 128, since 64 seems to be insufficent on a public machine w/amd).
Thanks
