The only fully released Linux distribution for SPARC is Redhat 4.x. The RedHat manual has instructions on how to setup the SPARC to network boot off of another machine using TFTP. (Debian/SPARC is still in its preliminary stages a.k.a. parts of it work but it has a ways to go)
You may also want to join sparclinux@vger.rutgers.edu (plus sparc-list@redhat.com or debain-sparc@lists.debian.org) to reach all of the people who actually run SPARCs themsevles. This list is for more general kernel issues.
