    SubjectNew Maintainer for linux.* groups
Ok. I hereby declare myself the "owner" or manager of the linux.*
    hierachy.

I have not gotten any response from David regarding feeding the kernel
list etc without addresses into the linux.dev.kernel etc groups. I will
start doing that on Thursday if I have not heard from David till then.

Following this post is a list of the current linux.* hierachy. This
evidently needs cleaning up but we are in the beginning stages. Feeds
available on request (some feeds have already been arranged). Advice
regarding sending a checkgroups out to fix up the hierachy needed.

    I have added the
    linux.redhat.*
    linux.debian.*

newsgroups which gate the redhat and debian mailing lists into usenet (one
    way..)

All newsgroups are hereby declared unmoderated.

    *.announce
    *.changes
    are to be read-only.

Future discussions regarding these matters should take place on either

    linux.admin.news

    or on

    linux-admin-news@list.fuller.edu

(send a message with "subscribe" to linux-admin-news-request@list.fuller.edu)
