Dunno if anybody is interested in this (mailed the isdn4linux people,
but didn't get a reply) but I ported the isdn4kernel-2.0.30A stuff
to linux-2.1.38 (should apply cleanly to 2.1.40). And it _works_
(I'm typing this from an ISDN connection on linux-2.1.39).
