    SubjectKernel Panic after halt!
    Date
    Hi there,

Since about 2.0.15 I get Kernel Panic crashes after running the halt
command. Strange enough, because reboot is still working fine.

Anyway the Message is not logged because / is already unmounted so I can't
send it. If necessary, I could write it on a peace of paper.

It doesn't disappear in 2.0.20, that's why I decided to post it here.

It's not really a problem, since the systems seams to be halted at this
stage anyway, but it just doen's look nice, especially to people that I
try to tell that windows is crashing more often than linux telling me
    genaeral protection..

Thanks for any hint on this

    Sven
