The problem disappeared for me in 1.99.12. I grepped all files of 2 CD-ROMs
without a crash. Previously (1.99.11) the crash would happend within
seconds. The load is 1.07. And for the record: I use gcc 2.7.2(ELF) as
stored on sunsite.
