Subject3c59x (v0.25) problems with 1.99.11

I upgraded to 1.99.10, and had a lot of "UDP Checksum errors" and "socket
destroy delayed". I thought I should do my most to stop it, so when I
upgraded to 1.99.11, I changed 3c59x.c to the 0.25 version I got from the
Vortex page (the author of the driver I think).

Well, I got rid of the above problems, but now instead, three times in 40
hrs, my ethernet stopped working. As far as I can see from my transciever
leds, there is traffic, but Linux doesnt see it. Tcpdump shows nothing,
etc. I do a

ifconfig eth0 down

and then reconfigure the eth0 device, and it works again. No reloading of
the 3c59x module or anything, I just ifconfig eth0 down and then up again
and add the routes.

Anyone else experiencing these problems?

I have compiled 1.99.12 now, and I plan to reboot later this evening.

eth0: 3Com 3c590 Vortex 10Mbps at 0xff80, 00:a0:24:77:27:24, IRQ 10
8K byte-wide RAM 1:1 Rx:Tx split, autoselect/10base2 interface.
