Gravity waves propagate faster (all points in space at once, if I recall the physics correctly <shrug>).
Well, I can build a gravity-wave receiver for about $5 (a great computer project for the astronomically minded). I just don't know how to build a transmitter (supernovae work, but they aren't Linux compatable).
