Hmm. Are you running any thing that tries to look at System.map?
Have you upgraded your binutils recently?

I noticed that dosemu had a problem with System.map recently. It
turned out that 'nm' that comes with the latest binutils creates
a slightly different System.map now. There are a lot more
leading 0's. I'm not sure why this is.

Btw, will this affect ksymoops? Which, I've never been able to
get to work anyway and if anyone wants to help, I'd appreciate
it.

I seem to remember that the developer of sysklog stuff was trying
to add some of the ksymoops capabilities into those programs.
But I don't remember what versions or anything. Perhaps one of
those programs is having a problem.
