Yes, this detection is painfully slow, even when one actually has
such a drive, has configured the correct kernel parameters for it,
and has patched sbpcd to only look for one drive rather than four.

With all of that, it still takes twice as long to probe for my cdrom
as the rest of the entire boot-to-login process. Very painful.
