I've noticed this too. My CSLIP connection has gotten quite bad since I
moved from 1.3.59 to 1.3.68. Ftp's to Solaris hosts are extremely slow
(~400bps) while to anything else is about 1Kbps (normal speed before was
~1.5Kbps+). I have no idea what it could be either. But somewhere
between .59 and .68 the serial code (ppp/slip/cslip) code changed, and it
made it a lot worse (for me anyway).
